Certitude is a healthcare professional liability insurance program created exclusively for physicians and healthcare providers who are affiliated with an Ascension health ministry. It is designed to support patient safety and protect physicians and healthcare providers who are affiliated with participating health ministries.
Created in 2011 for Ascension and underwritten by ProAssurance companies*, Certitude takes a unique and effective approach. Its focus on patient safety, alignment of physicians and hospitals, cost savings, and fair treatment helps ensure better outcomes and greater peace of mind. Certitude® by Ascension
